GridCodePower Ltd was set up in 2016 to develop battery storage and reserve power facilities providing electricity supply and grid balancing services in the UK electricity market.
The company has developed and financed more than 70MW of reserve power facilities with an additional 60MW of battery storage due to become operational in 2020. GridCodePower has a pipeline of more than 1500MW of carefully-sited energy storage projects which will be built out in the near future.
Prior to founding GridCodePower the principals successfully developed three commercial-scale onshore wind farms in Scotland which have been operational since 2013.
